Since being launched in late 2000 Pivot Pegz® have undergone continual development and testing by some of the worlds best riders and the latest Mark 4 version is the best yet.
You get a wide 60mm platform, state-of-the-art grip pattern, unique platform design and spring loaded pivoting action. The pivoting action uses a high grade self-centering spring to regulate the motion of the peg. This all adds up to enhanced grip and load distribution combined with reduced impact and fatigue.
Pivot Pegz are also designed to reduce mud packing. As for the quality, it’s world class, quite simply our aim is to build the best performing and highest quality production footpegs in the world.

Strength & Durability
Pivot Pegz® have been designed to last and to withstand very demanding offroad riding conditions.
They are a designed using high tech 3D computer modelling software and are a precision built, high quality product. They are formed by state-of-the-art precision investment casting using ultra high strength aerospace grade stainless steel before being CNC machined and double heat treated for extra strength and durability. Pivot Pegz® are then electro-polished to a high grade finish before finally having the exterior hand-polished to a mirror finish which highlights the embossed logo and really makes Pivot Pegz® stand out in the crowd. The results are obvious - just check out the pictures throughout our website.
Internally a high quality German made replaceable BUSH is used and ample amounts of a superior quality saltwater proof grease is added to keep everything running smoothly. The Pivot Pegz also has O-ring seals at both ends of the pivot shaft to protect the internal parts and to keep the grease in and the bad stuff out. If and when maintenance is required it is a very easy task due to the simple proven design.
Pivot Pegz® also use a 'one-piece mount and shaft' design which means the pivot shaft can never unscrew and come loose during riding over rough terrain or jumps.

Pivoting Action
Only Pivot Pegz® have the unique & patented spring loaded self-centering pivoting action. This spring loaded action provides many benefits.
A specially designed spring holds the peg platform in its central (horizontal) position and provides resistance and shock absorption during the pivoting action. When forward or backward pressure is applied by the riders foot, the peg pivots forward or backward in a smooth and predictable manner. When pressure is released the peg instantly returns to its central horizontal position. The spring loaded action of Pivot Pegz® also provides valuable force feedback to the rider and assists in returning their feet to the central position.
Pivoting Range
The forward and backward spring loaded pivoting action of Pivot Pegz® is limited to an optimized range forward and backward. The pivot range has been determined by extensive evaluation of both the movement of the rider and the movement of the motorcycle during many styles of riding.
Springless Option
Pivot Pegz® also give the user the option to remove the Pivot Springs and use Pivot Pegz with a springless pivoting action. This springless option has always been available on all model Pivot Pegz but quite simply tests have shown the spring loaded pivoting action to be the optimum set up but if you prefer a springless pivoting action then the option is available. It is a simple task to dis-assemble Pivot Pegz® and remove the Pivot Springs and just as simple to reinstall then if and when you require.
